Academic Year 2021-22
Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday 21st February from 24th February there will be no legal restrictions on the general public. The school will work in line with government ‘advice’ and start a process of ‘living with Covid’. This means that we will treat Covid19 like any other illness. We be following the advice the government has given but also understanding that this is advice and not statutory guidance.
Pupils should NOT attend school if they are ill – whether this is Covid19 or another illness.
If your child shows symptoms of Covid19 and they are unwell they should stay home until they feel well enough to come to school. You may wish to test for Covid19 but this is not a legal requirement. We ask all parents to take a common sense approach; if your child is well they should attend school. We will not provide remote learning as children who are well should be in school receiving face to face learning.
Attendance at school is now mandatory and good attendance will support your child to make good progress.
The documents on this page will provide you with current information on government and NHS advice.
Thank you for your support.
