    The right learning environment

Our class structure varies each academic year. Every year we look at the needs of the school and the children and decide which structure will work best that year. Because we are a small school, most classes contain mixed year groups, however, we have one single-age year group every year. This system gives us the flexibility to put resources and support where it is needed and will have the most impact.

Our teaching assistants and support staff work closely with our teaching team. They give pupils additional guidance to enable them to complete tasks independently or to master new skills. They also provide pastoral support and help. Teachers ensure all support staff are fully aware of the needs of our pupils and how they can support them to maximise learning.
