  • Pupil Premium

    Supporting all children to succeed

Pupil Premium is additional funding provided to schools to support vulnerable children including those entitled to free school meals, children in care and children of service personnel. The documents below detail the funding received by Penshurst CE Primary School each year, how it was used and the impact it had.  The document also includes the funding for the next financial year and how it is being used.  This forms our Pupil Premium Strategy Document.

As our school is small some comments may be general so that we do not identify pupils or families.

  • The Sport Premium

    Developing active lifestyles

This initiative aims to help increase and improve PE and sporting opportunities for children. This extra government funding can only be spent on improving the provision of PE and sport in school.

We use our premium to provide our children with a range of sporting experiences; some are competitive and some are about having a go at something new or different. We encourage pupils to be active and understand that physical activity is an important part of their wellbeing.
