Curriculum 2020-21

  • Reconnecting with learning

During the academic year 2020-21 our curriculum will focus on supporting all pupils to reconnect with learning. We have created a curriculum that is broadly based on our normal ambitious curriculum; however we have made adjustments to ensure our pupils have opportunities to reflect, revise and re-engage with their learning.

Pupil well-being has a priority within our curriculum. We aim to provide our pupils with a broad and balanced curriculum so that they continue their development through a range of subjects . We will also provide enough space and time for children to come to terms with any loss or impact of Covid19 has had on the well-being and learning.

We will use robust monitoring and assessment to identify the next steps in each child’s learning. Where there are gaps in learning we will ensure that through excellent teaching and / or high quality intervention we provide the additional support required.
